TRACKSTARR 2012
Overview
Location: Hamilton City (starting in Garden Place)
Date: Saturday 1st December
Time: 4pm - 7:30pm (see below for breakdown)
Format: Alleycat (what's an Alleycat? Ask Google)
Cost: $5
Categories
Everyone will race at the same time, and with the same manifests, although the results will be separate and prizes awarded to these placings:
Main Category
‘1st Track’ (plus 2nd and 3rd)
1st, 2nd & 3rd person on a brakeless Track Bike/Fixed Gear bike.
Secondary Categories
‘1st Open’
First person on any bike to complete all the checkpoints.
‘1st Out Of Towner’
First person not from the wider Hamilton area to complete all the checkpoints.
'Bonus Prizes?'
There might be some extras on the day...
Note: It is possible for the same person to win multiple categories, for example: If the ‘1st Track’ placing beats the '1st Open' placing, and is also an out of towner then they will win every category.
Times & Location Details
4:00pm Meet-up and welcome ride
Location: Garden Place, Hamilton
5:00pm Registration begins & Race Packs given out to riders
Location: Garden Place, Hamilton
If you have pre-registered you can simply collect your Race Pack. If you have yet to register you can do so here. Registration is only $5 and includes some food and drink afterwards.
5:30pm Registration ends
Any final preparations or last minute shit talking can be done now. If you were late to register you can still do so. Late registration will cost $10 instead of $5.
5:45pm Manifests released to riders
Study the checkpoints as best you can and work out your best route.
6:00pm Start!
RIDE HARD.
7:15pm After race meet-up and prize giving
Come and hang out afterwards for prize giving, and eat some food and drink (provided).
Maybe an after party etc.
This will save you time on the day and help me with organizing.
