Had a bit of good news recently, regarding events..

Jenna and I are going to be putting together some races, with backing from RedBull, with Ivan not being on our scene anymore RedBull had no idea what to do in regards to the 'fixie scene' so they have given us a bit of creative freedom (+ a 'lil bit of funding) to get some decent stuff happening.

We have a couple of races already mapped out, but we will still be tinkering with ideas to make them run smoothly.

We will give everyone PLENTY of notice beforehand, as some of you boys from out of Auckland might want to come up, as they will be WELL worth the trip up..

Jenna has a meeting with RB tomorrow about an Alley Cat.

So I might not race in every event but it's still a big deal to me because I'd like to see events put on.

Wasn't the last race the one that Woody and co put on? Pretty sure most raced in that and that was an awesome event.

Good new about the meeting, I'm sure Jenna can sort out something rad!

I have raced in a few and others I have also opted not to race but to document, and others i have chosen to organise.

I guess you could say I care more about the community than my self, sacrificing my chance to participate to organise or document.

Messanger style, byo bag and straps, check points around town with boxes and packages, move like ash katchem and collect them all, get given the spots, make ur own route. make it so you either move one and deliver to another or you just stock pile an bring em all back to spot X, make a couple of duds full of rocks just for the fun. brakes and gears get ones with rocks. do it on my return after the 12th july.

after all thats what fixxxxxays are all about, wanna act like a messenger, put your self to the test, make some of the boxes big and cunty tho, points lost if you damage boxes and shit, amazing race style, time delays as the end check point.

Unfortunately I am not going to have anything to do with this anymore, for more complicated reasons than I'd like to explain.. If anyone wants to help/know more hit Jenna up.
